Özlem Ege Polat provided legal advice to national and multinational clients from diverse sectors in M&A transactions and participated in each stage of the transactions such as due diligence, negotiation and closing phases.  She has extensive experience in drafting legal documents required during the transaction and in energy law matters.  Mrs. Ege especially specializes in energy law and advices national and international energy companies and investors regarding electricity energy regulatory, drafting and negotiation of energy trading agreements (included but not limited to EFET Agreements), licensing procedures and representing the clients before the courts and relevant regulatory bodies.  She advises our clientele in their day to day business in a continuous manner.

Mrs. Ege graduated from İstanbul Bilgi University in 2007 and obtained her LL.M. degree from University of Cologne in 2011 with the thesis titled “Establishment of an Energy Exchange in Turkey: EEX as a Model”.

Duygu Tuncer provides legal consultancy and advocacy services to international and national clients in respect of Merger and Acquisition Projects, Corporate and Contract Law. Prior, as a legal counsel, she gained extensive experience with regard to Corporate Law, Contract Law, Finance Law, Intellectual Property Law, Electronic Commerce Law and Consumer Law by providing legal counselling pertaining to preparation of all contracts, conducting negotiation process, establishment of national and international business partnerships of a well-known holding company which is operating in the fields of broadcasting, advertising, betting, energy, defense and aviation. Besides, she has special knowledge for representing companies in the field of Labor Law and, as well as, monitoring compliance processes (particularly with respect to personal data and anti-corruption regulations).

Duygu has a law degree from Istanbul Bilgi University and received specialized training with regard to Corporate and Commercial Law at the London School of Economics and Political Science University.

She is also a registered mediator of the Ministry of Justice Mediation Department.

Corporate Law

Our firm provides legal advice to its client including but not limited to company, branch offices, liaison offices establishments; shareholders relations, drafting relevant corporate documents such as articles of association, meeting minutes and other day to day corporate documents, commercial agreements, documents related to mergers and acquisition transactions and amending the same and also restructuring and liquidation procedures.
We assist our clients on negotiation and execution of all commercial agreements. We also represent our clients during dispute resolution or litigation processes if disputes arise from such transactions.

Energy and Natural Resources

Our firm provides legal services to local and international clients on Turkish energy regulatory matters for compliance of their energy investments. The members of our firm are especially experienced on energy trading transactions. Beside Turkish regulations, we possess knowledge on European energy legislation.
Apart energy regulatory, we have represented energy companies in a wide range of legal issues such as in merger and acquisitions transactions, licensing and representation before regulatory authorities.
